Use Your Money Wisely
As a powerful tool, money can make or
break people. It can also be a means to obtain great satisfaction. Undoubtedly,
money is of immense value, but it’s true worth depends on how it is used.
Mr. Djulis Sanjaya and Mr. Arya Sukamto
are two successful businessman with big earnings. However, when it comes to the
manner in which they use their money, they are poles apart. Mr. Sanjayaa likes
to economize in every way possible. Never inclined to donate to charity, he
keeps dogs that will chase away anyone who tries to elicit a contribution for
the welfare of others. A loner without any family, Mr. Sanjaya doesn’t even
know the name of his next-door neighbor. In all probability he uses the greater
part of his time plotting and scheming ways to increase his wealth.
Mr. Sukamto, on the other hand, is an
exceedingly charitable person. He never tires of announcing that every cent he
owns does not really belong to him. Using only a modest amount of his big
income for his daily needs, he allocates generous sums for charitable events
and institutions. He has even single-handedly financed the building of a local
orphanage. Coincidentally or not, but over the years Mr. Sukamto’s fortune has
continued.
In my opinion, All in all, this country
has countless people who have money in
excess. However, it is only a surprising few who are willing to share their
good fortune with others. We should wish there were more people like Mr.
Sukamto, who knows the true value of money.
